The department will not be conducting a Graduate Development Program in 2010, it is anticipated that applications for the 2011 program will open mid March 2010 and close late April 2010. Online applications will be accepted during this period.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the department's Graduate Development Program you must:

  • be an Australian citizen or receive Australian citizenship status prior to the commencement of the program in mid January
  • have completed an undergraduate degree prior to the commencement of the program in mid January 
  • be willing to undergo and maintain a security clearance 
  • be willing to undergo a health check 
  • be willing to relocate to Canberra.
