Our website is changing
During the week of 30 January you’ll see some changes to our website.
We’re refreshing our websites to reflect our new mission of ‘We work to sustain the life and prosperity of all Australians’.
Our refreshed websites will feature new colours, imagery and typefaces.
These changes are part of the roll out of a new Strategic Statement and identity for the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.
Will the changes affect the content and information on the website?
No. All content, including navigation, related links and contact details, will remain the same. These changes affect the presentation of the content only.
What about the DAFF homepage?
There will be some changes to the content on the DAFF home page to make it more helpful and easier to use for our visitors. For example, new picture-based links will be added from the homepage to the information we know most people come to our site looking for most often.
What can I expect from these changes?
You will see our websites and pages change over during the week of 30 January. It will take a few days for the changes to be made across all sites and pages, so be prepared to see some of the old and some of the new during the transition week.
Because no content or links are changing you should still be able to find the information you need, and your bookmarks and any links to the sites will still work. If you can’t find what you need you can use the search function or ask for help through our feedback form.
You may see some inconsistencies on the refreshed pages, such as different fonts or pictures not working. Some fine tuning is always expected in a large scale changeover like this.
