Codex Committee on Cereals, Pulses and Legumes

The Codex Committee on Cereals, Pulses and Legumes (CCCPL) has completed its work and adjourned until further notice. It may be called again to meet if required to set standards and/or codes of practice for cereals, pulses, legumes and their products.
Existing Codex Standards
Standards relating to cereals, pulses and legumes* that have been endorsed and adopted into the international food code include:
- Durum Wheat, Semolina and Durum Wheat Flour
- Wheat Flour
- Wheat Protein products
- Wheat and Durum Wheat
- Gluten-free products
- Guideline levels for Cadmium in Cereals, Pulses and Legumes
- Pulses and Legumes

Last Meeting
In June-July 2003, the 26th Session of the Codex Alimentarius Commission adopted the Proposed Draft Standard for Instant Noodles at Step 5 agreeing to forward the standard to the CCCPL for further consideration by correspondence.
