North West Rangelands
From 7 August 2007, all producers in the North West Rangelands area are eligible to apply for income support and interest rate subsidies.
Agriculture-dependent small business operators who derive 70 per cent of their turnover from agriculture in any prima facie declared area are also eligible to apply for support.
Producers and agriculture-dependent small business operators should not self-assess their eligibility for income support but should call the Drought Assistance Hotline on 13 23 16.

All producers in the North West Rangelands declared area should note the following deadlines:

Area Description
The North West Rangelands area extends:
- to the North of the existing Central North and Central North East Exceptional Circumstances declared areas
- to the West of the existing Central North and Central North East Exceptional Circumstances declared areas and the Queensland border
- to the South of the Queensland South West Exceptional Circumstances declared area and the Northern Territory border
- to the East of the Alinytjara Wilurara Natural Resource Management Board region, and
- to the North of Central Eyre and Western Eyre EC areas.
The area excludes National Parks and Reserves with the exception of the Innamincka Regional Reserve that is managed as a pastoral lease and is included in the North West Rangelands area.
The following pastoral leases are included: Agnes Creek, Allandale, Anna Creek , Arckaringa, Arcoona, Ayers Range South, Billa Kalina, Bon Bon, Bulgunnia, Clifton Hills, Commonwealth Hill, Coondambo, Cowarie, Crown Point, Eringa, Evelyn Downs, Gidgealpa, Ingomar, Innamincka, Kalamurina, Kokatha, Kondoolka, Lake Everard, Lambina, Lockes Claypan, Mabel Creek, Macumba, McDouall Peak, Millers Creek, Moonaree, Mt Barry, Mt Clarence, Mt Eba, Mt Penrhyn, Mt Sarah, Mt Vivian, Mt Willoughby, Mulgathing, Mungeranie, Nilpinna, Parakylia, Pinjarra, Pt Narlaby, Purple Downs, Roxby Downs, Scrubby Peak, Thurlga, Tieyon, Todmorden, Welbourn Hill, Wilgena, Wintinna, Wirraminna and Yardea.
