Food Chain Safety and Security
The Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) works with industry and other government agencies to ensure the safety and security of Australia's food supply.
Through the Food Chain Protection section within the Product Integrity, Animal and Plant Health Division, DAFF is involved in the development of two initiatives designed to ensure Australia's preparedness for major incidents that could potentially interfere with the safety or security of our food supply.
