Field Crops Objectives
The objective of Field Crops, Horticulture and Wine is to advance Australia’s economic and trade interests through the promotion and development of competitive and sustainable industries.
What we do
Field Crops develop and communicate policy and programs in consultation and cooperation with the field crops industry. We are particularly involved in issues of industry structures, supply chain competitiveness, structural adjustment and support.
Field Crops also maintains and enhances market access for Australian field crops in key and developing markets in consultation with industry and other key Government agencies.
Field Crops is a source of industry expertise within government and provides policy advise to the Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
