AQUAVETPLAN - Enterprise Manual
The Enterprise Manual is an integral part of the Australian Aquatic Veterinary Emergency Plan (AQUAVETPLAN).
The manual guides the rapid development of emergency aquatic animal disease control strategies according to the four types of production systems affected:
- open (catchment, estuarine, marine)
- semi-open (cage cultures, shellfish)
- semi-closed (introduced and native freshwater fish, hatcheries, raceways)
- closed (aquaria).
The manual provides brief information on industry practices and structures, and outlines approaches to be considered in the face of an aquatic animal disease emergency.
Note: This manual is not intended to be read throughout. Instructions on 'How to use this manual' are given on page iii.
