Virtually all of the remaining HP tubules are displaying infected cells with fully developed intranuclear occlusion bodies. In H&E preparations, spherical baculovirus occlusion bodies appear as eosinophilic, generally multiple, spherical inclusion bodies in enormously hypertrophied nuclei (arrows).
