Have your say on proposed ‘Antifouling and In-water Cleaning Guidelines’
The draft ‘Antifouling and In-water Guidelines’ are intended to support the management of environmental effects of the application, maintenance removal and disposal of antifouling coatings at shore-based maintenance facilities; and the in-water cleaning and maintenance of vessels and movable structures.
The guidelines have been jointly developed by Australia and New Zealand in conjunction with industry stakeholders from each country.
The guidelines are intended to replace the ‘Australian and New Zealand Environment and Conservation Council Code of Practice for Antifouling and In-water Hull Cleaning and Maintenance, 1997’.
