Exotic weeds watch list
Keeping watch for any unusual weeds is just one of the ways you can help to protect Australia's primary industries.
Weeds that you have not seen before could be exotic to Australia. Some of the more serious, exotic weeds to watch out for are listed below. Where available, links to fact sheets with images are provided to help with the identification of the weeds listed.
Exotic weeds, should they arrive or take hold in Australia, could have a damaging impact on crop production, trade, the economy and environment. Early detection is the key to minimising the impacts of exotic weeds in Australia.
You can help by reporting any weeds that you suspect are exotic to Australia on 1800 084 881 (see Found something unusual? Report new weeds).
