Arthropod Collections of South East Asia

This booklet provides basic information on the scientific collections that are maintained in the South-East Asian region and include preserved specimens of insects and their relatives, especially mites, spiders, millipedes, centipedes and terrestrial crustaceans.

The purpose of the booklet is to:

• raise awareness of these mostly unknown collections among potential users and to facilitate networking among those who work with or are responsible for the collections, and
  
  
• enhance communications among the individuals and agencies that maintain the collections.
