The stocktake identified 129 Australian fruit fly-related projects and ongoing activities worth around $128.7 million for the period from 1 July 2003 to 30 June 2008.

The stocktake was prepared for the National Fruit Fly Strategy and Priorities Project (NFFSPP). The NFFSPP will use the complete set of stocktake data to determine the most viable, cost effective and sustainable approach to fruit fly management in Australia.
