Advice Note for the National Consultative Committee on Animal Welfare

This advice note deals with the health and welfare consequences that may accompany the application of biotechnology, genetic modification and cloning to animals, particularly farm animals. It arises from a paper that was considered at the 36^th meeting of the NCCAW held in Canberra 8–9 September 2005. NCCAW 36 requested that the paper be edited in line with comments from members and be placed on the NCCAW website.
