Livestock Vessel Masters information sheet
Prior to entering Australian waters, every livestock vessel is required to be thoroughly cleansed. The vessel is then disinfected with 4% soda ash solution or other approved disinfectant. This is to be applied to all livestock holding areas. A minimum period of 30 minutes must elapse before washing down.
