Dairy Export Program Operations Manual

The export of milk and milk products from Australia is controlled through the Export Control Act 1982, Export Control (Prescribed Goods – General) Orders 2005 and the Export Control (Milk and Milk Products) Orders 2005.

The Dairy Export Program Operations Manual (DEPOM) has been developed to provide guidance in application of the legislation that regulates Milk and Milk Products under the Export Control Act 1982, but not to replace it.

For definitive requirements refer to the Export Control Act 1982, Export Control (Prescribed Goods – General) Orders 2005 and the Export Control (Milk and Milk Products) Orders 2005.

DEPOM currently includes sections A, B, F, I and P. Section C (multi-commodity officers) and Section D (approved auditors) will be published once finalised.

A password is required to access DEPOM. To request a password, contact Dairy Export.
