The Agri–Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) is a central competent authority in Singapore responsible for import and export conditions for a wide range of food and non-food items. Further information is available from their website.  

The Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) has negotiated with Singapore AVA for the importation of Australian egg products and as a result, seven Australian egg processing establishments (details following) are now approved to supply this market.  However this recognition does not include preserved egg products such as salted or alkalized eggs.

AQIS export registered egg products establishments approved for the Singapore market include:

(a) Doug Hall Enterprises—Gore Highway, Millmerran QLD (Est.#6600)

(b) Farm Pride Foods Ltd—551 Chandler Rd, Keysborough VIC (Est. #794)

(c) Pace Farm Egg Products P/L—105 Warabrook Boulevard, Warabrook NSW (Est. #2671)

(d) Platinum Pulping P/L—Gore Highway, Pitsworth QLD (Est. #5807)

(e) Snapfresh P/L—90 Magnesium Dr, Crestmead QLD (Est. #806)

(f) West Coast Eggs Ltd—45-53 McGregor Rd, Palmyra WA (Est. #927)

(g) Sunny Queen Fresh Foods Pty Ltd—11/32-34 Old Pacific Highway, Yatala QLD (est. #7289)

In relation to the issue of government–to–government health certification and public health declarations, Singapore AVA has requested the following declaration appear as a statement on each AQIS health certificate, including the time and temperature values of the processing establishment:

'the processed egg products have been pasteurised at ___ for a minimum of ___ minutes and are free from pathogenic micro-organisms especially Salmonella.'
