Introduction
AQIS issued previous advice in Industry Advice Notice (IAN) 2011-01 regarding amendment to the Product Standard Guideline document, which took effect on 1 March 2011.
AQIS has received feedback from the industry regarding this document, as well as additional information regarding testing requirements, and as a result has updated the Product Standard Guideline to provide further clarification, as well as outline changes to the testing requirements within the Guideline.
The Guideline is offered in two formats for accessibility:

The new Product Standard Guideline will take effect from 1 November 2011.
Export registered fish establishments are required to incorporate these minimum testing requirements into their documented Approved Arrangements (AA), which AQIS audits against to verify industry compliance with the export legislation, by 1 November 2011.

Date of effect
This amended version, Version 7, of the Product Standards guideline will take effect from 1 November 2011.
