European Union (EU) Tail Tags
The following table contains information on each states' requirements for the tail tagging of cattle. Click on the state name to visit the Department of Primary Industries' website for that state, or refer to the attached documents. Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania do not have specific documents on tail tags at this time.
In general, the use of lime green tail tags for EU cattle will be reviewed in the near future. Until then, lime green tail tags for EU cattle are still a legal requirement and must continue to be used.
