Rights of Appeal
If you believe a decision made by an authorised officer or an approved certifying organisation is unreasonable, there are processes in place for you to ask for a review of that decision.
Each of the AQIS approved certifying organisations must have an appeals process in place as stipulated in section 11 of the AQIS Administrative Arrangements for Approved Certifying Organisations Operating Inspection and Certification Activities for Australian Organic and Bio-Dynamic Produce.
