Plant exports operation manual

The Plant Export Operations Manual has been prepared by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) and is intended to be used for the purpose of training authorised officers in the inspection of plants and plant products from Australia.

Industry, through the Grains Industry Consultative Committee and the Horticulture Export Consultative Committee, has contributed to the content, and supported the publication of this manual. The purpose of this manual is to be a comprehensive reference providing detailed information to support the Plant Export Training eLearning modules and has been designed to be easy to use with subject headings that align to the eLearning modules.

DAFF will periodically review this manual and will present the revised version to both industry consultative committees for agreement to publish the updated version.

There will be additional resources made available as well to supplement the manual.
