Enzymes
LESS THAN 20g/ml
The following information is required to accompany all applications to import less than 20g or mL of enzymes:
- Species of origin;
- Level of purification, if relevant (please detail the method used to purify the enzyme);
- Volume of product;
- End use.
GREATER THAN 20g/ml:
The following information is required to accompany all applications to import greater than 20g or mL of enzymes.
Plant origin / Derived by a fermentation process (greater than 20g/ml):
- Manufacturing details (preferably in a flow diagram) outlining the products used during manufacture and the methods used to sterilise the materials;
- Species and country of origin for all animal derived ingredients (if derived by a fermentation process);
- Details of any carriers used (and methods of sterilisation for the carriers);
- End use.
Animal origin (greater than 20g/ml):
- Species of origin;
- Country of origin of animal derived ingredients;
- Manufacturing details (preferably in a flow diagram) outlining the products used during manufacture and the methods of sterilisation of the materials);
- End use.
