The following commodity groups from the above mentioned countries are considered infestable agricultural commodities, in relation to Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium) infestation. (Note: this applies to all commodities, whether commercially produced or non-commercially produced):
- Seeds
- Spices
- Plant gums and resins except those chemically extracted
- Meals and Flours of plant origin
- Dates
- Dried Fruits
- Nuts
- Dried vegetables excluding freeze dried vacuum packed goods
- Unprocessed agricultural products excluding fresh fruits and vegetables
Note: Inherently infestable commodities may be processed in ways which eliminate existing insect infestation and maintain them in that condition by packing in insect-proof containers. These commodities are considered non-exposed. Exposed means the commodities are not processed and/or maintained in this manner and are exposed to possible insect infestation.
