This package has been created to assist importers when importing chemical fertiliser into Australia. It will enable you to be fully aware of the regulations and requirements that AQIS expects. We have provided information concerning documentation requirements and information about the importation and clearance of your chemical fertiliser.

Application to import quarantine material
An Import Permit must be applied for prior to importation of fertiliser and must be applied for through the AQIS Newcastle Office. Download the Application to import agricultural products.
Import Conditions Database
ICON is AQIS's import conditions database. It can be used to determine if a commodity intended for import to Australia needs a quarantine permit and/or treatment or if there are any other quarantine pre-requisites.
