Fish Processing Establishments - Thailand

An arrangement has been negotiated between the Australian and Thai governments to permit certain fish processing establishments to export fish products to Australia under certification.

Under this arrangement the Department of Fisheries, Thailand must approve the fish processing establishments and provide a health certificate for each consignment.

Risk category fish products under certification are subject to a reduced level of inspection and testing.

Establishments that are not approved by the Department of Fisheries, Thailand are still eligible to export fish products to Australia but cannot be certified on a health certificate and will be subject to the usual rate of inspection and testing upon arrival in Australia.

The current list of approved establishments is dated 10 January 2012 and is available below in numerical order. Please check the list regularly as AQIS frequently receives updates from the Department of Fisheries, Thailand.
