European Union (EU) Phase out of Methyl Bromide Use

After 18 March 2010, the use of methyl bromide in the (EU) will be banned for most purposes, including quarantine and pre-shipment fumigations.

In view of this ban, certificates for methyl bromide fumigations performed by EU countries post 18 March 2010 will not be accepted. The methyl bromide treatment provider lists will be updated accordingly.
