The use of methyl bromide in the European Union (EU) was banned on 18 March 2010 for most purposes, including quarantine and pre-shipment fumigations.

In view of this ban, certificates for methyl bromide fumigations performed by EU countries (as listed below) post 18 March will not be accepted.
