Offshore Treatment Providers List - Viet Nam

From 1 June 2011, following the implementation of the Australian Fumigation Accreditation Scheme (AFAS) (See Notice to Industry 38–2011), certificates from Viet Nam methyl bromide treatment providers will only be acceptable if they are issued by ‘acceptable’ registered AFAS fumigation companies and include all the necessary information including the relevant AFAS Identification number and company address details as they appear on the list of Acceptable Viet Nam Treatment Providers below.

Fumigation certificates will not be accepted from companies who are ‘suspended’ or ‘withdrawn’. Consignments fumigated by providers who are ‘under investigation’ must be either: fully inspected, re–treated, exported or destroyed.
