Fees for government animal quarantine stations for cats and dogs
The total fee for quarantine service is calculated after your pet arrives in Australia, you will be invoiced for these services. The total of the invoice is payable prior to collection of your animal/s from quarantine. AQIS will accept payment via EFTPOS, cash, Visa, MasterCard or AMEX. Payment by bank cheque must be received at least 14 days prior to collecting your pet/s. No personal cheques will be accepted.
Please note that further to the fees and charges listed below there may be other costs associated with import clearance, parasite treatment, veterinary care or other services provided for your pet/s whilst in quarantine which could be included on your final invoice.

Fee per half hour. In the majority of cases only half an hour is required. This fee is charged for each animal. |

Transport from the airport to the quarantine station |
Fee is charged for the first animal only. Pets picked up after 4pm or before 8am are charged at the higher rate. |
