Biosecurity Australia provides specialist advice to maintain the healthy status of Australia’s livestock, horticulture and fisheries industries and helps Aussie producers to export to overseas markets.
Our people develop science-based policy, undertake research, investigations and projects, prepare briefings and represent the agency on committees and in negotiations.
We need scientists and other specialists – recent graduates to senior policy officers – to join our team.
We’re looking for motivated people with degrees in science, particularly agriculture, entomology, aquatic animal health, microbiology, mycology, plant pathology, veterinary sciences, or a background in project management or business management.
We like people with well-developed project management and communication skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines in a small team.
