General Fisheries Information
Fisheries and Marine Sciences Program of BRS provides advice on current fisheries related issues and undertakes reviews of various topics to provide general background information for policy development.
Examples of this include:
- a description of the activities of distant water fishing fleets, and
- descriptions of existing fishing technologies.
