Demonstration of research and technology is important in encouraging the adoption of new farming and food processor practices.
Demonstration activities include:

• facilitating research and development of key technologies and farming systems
• effective communication and demonstration of practical options by a trusted source that farmers can implement
• developing a monitoring and evaluation framework.

On farm and food processor demonstrations can illustrate how combinations of current management practices and new technologies can be integrated into future management systems.

The Climate Change Research Program Round 2 delivers demonstrations of nationally coordinated on-farm and processor climate change adaptation and mitigation activities.
