Sharing the Fish Conference 2006
'Sharing the Fish - Allocation Issues in Fisheries Management Conference 2006' was held 26 February to 2 March 2006 in Fremantle, Western Australia. It focused on resource allocation and the sustainability of fisheries by exploring three themes:
- allocation across jurisdictions including governmental
- regional and multi-lateral issues
- allocation between sectors and allocation within sectors.

The Western Australian Department of Fisheries (hosts) in cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and supported by the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry and the New Zealand Ministry of Fisheries.
