Our website is changing
During the week of 30 January you’ll see some changes to this website. These changes are part of the roll out of a new Strategic Statement and identity for DAFF.
A goal of the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry is to assist our forestry industry to grow, improve and capitalise on new opportunities while protecting the environment and contributing to the prosperity and quality of life in rural and regional Australia. While forests will continue to provide sustainably produced wood products, they will increasingly provide other benefits such as carbon sequestration, salinity control and biodiversity conservation.
