Tony Burke – comments on water irrigation funding in the 2009-10 Federal Budget.

This is a major new investment in on-farm efficiency grants for irrigators in the Murray-Darling Basin. Helping irrigators and basin communities adjust to a future with less water, invest in new technology to farm smarter. This is the government helping with infrastructure investment right down to the irrigation equipment on the farm.
