International Agricultural Cooperation Program
The Australian Government implemented the International Agricultural Cooperation (IAC) program to improve market access and trade growth for Australia’s agriculture, fisheries, forestry and processed food industries.
The IAC Program aims to improve market access and trade growth for Australia’s agriculture, fisheries, forestry and processed food industries. The program supports the promotion of rural exports by building bilateral government-to-government relationships, facilitating improved market access and trade growth for portfolio industries and providing technical and capacity building assistance to targeted trading partners. Its activities strengthen bilateral relationships with a range of key emerging and existing trading partners.
The IAC program also enables a rapid response to unexpected and significant market access crises and will to help raise the awareness of domestic stakeholders of the importance of international agricultural trade.
The IAC program is not a public grants program. For more information please contact the Trade and Market Access Division.
