How do I get involved in Landcare?
All sorts of people take part in landcare projects and activities - farmers, students, professionals, locals and travellers from around Australia and the world.
If you want to become involved in Landcare, have a look at Landcare Online, the website of Landcare Australia Limited (LAL).
LAL is a not for profit company with two main jobs:
- raising awareness of, and participation in, landcare and landcare issues, and
- raising funds and resources for landcare projects.
The Landcare Online website can provide you with information on how to get involved at all levels, including through Landcare groups, and working on projects and sponsorship of projects. The website also includes information on the types of projects available.
Many jobs in natural resource management and Landcare in Australia are advertised in a subscription free electronic newsletter. The publication is called NRM Jobs.
