Native Vegetation Regional Pilot Projects
The $2 million Native Vegetation Regional Pilot Projects initiative under the Natural Heritage Trust involves the Australian Government working collaboratively with state and territory governments, industry groups and the natural resource management regions to test ways to improve arrangements for sustainable native vegetation management on farms.
The program was announced in a media release on 20 March 2006 by the former Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry with further details announced in a media release on 12 April 2006.
